Project Brief

We were approached by one of the big hospital groups in South Africa. They had a vision for a mobile app that their Doctors (GP’s and Specialist) could use to effectively communicate to one another. They wanted a platform that would allow them to seamlessly interact and share feedback with one another. We sat with the client and scoped out exactly what was needed. We then began with a design phase. Once all the screens were done and dusted, we moved to development. After a period of 2 months, we were ready to launch phase 1. Subsequently we have worked on the app and we have introduced many new features. These included integrations with 3rd party service providers.

There is also a comprehensive admin panel that allows the client to have an overview of what is going on within the application. Role based security has also been implemented to restrict users from seeing sensitive information. Complex data encryption has also been applied to the data residing in the database to ensure that everything is safe and sound. The application is hosted on AWS cloud hosting solutions, this allows us to quickly scale the server should the need arise. There is still a lot that is in the pipeline for future updates. Exciting times ahead!
