Planning an iPhone app for customers, staff or an operational workflow? RocketSoft helps businesses scope and develop mobile applications, with a Cape Town team serving clients across South Africa.
Our published work includes the Rain iOS application, developed using Swift, alongside Flutter mobile projects. We assess the audience, integrations and long-term product requirements before recommending the development approach.

A useful iOS app starts with a clear job to do: helping customers manage an account, giving a team access to operational information or connecting a mobile workflow to existing systems. The first step is to define the users, essential features and data that the application needs.
Scoping should cover the app and the systems around it, including APIs, authentication, administration tools and release requirements. It should also identify which services already exist and which need to be developed. This gives the business a clearer basis for agreeing scope, budget and delivery milestones.
Native iOS development uses Apple’s platform technologies, including Swift. Flutter can share application code across iOS and Android while allowing platform-specific integrations. Neither approach is the right choice for every project: existing code, device features, user experience and future maintenance all matter.
RocketSoft’s Rain iOS project documents Swift development for an application supporting account management, purchases, invoices and customer support. For projects that also need Android, explore our Flutter app development service and the native versus cross-platform comparison.
Have an iOS app brief or an existing application that needs further development?
Discuss your requirements with RocketSoft. Share the main user journeys, required integrations and any existing code or designs so the team can assess the next steps.

We used Rocketsoft to Develop a new program based completely off an Idea. This entailed a lot of back and forth as well as constant changes, but the team was accommodating and we managed to get a working model up and running. The fine tuning afterwards was much easier and we are happy about the success and streamlining that the end product provides. Rocketsoft should definitely be on your shortlist when considering any project.Posted on Google![]()

Our niche online company relies on our database and platform to be operational without interruption. We moved our software support and maintenance to Rocketsoft about a year ago and are extremely happy with their prompt service, honesty and affordability. We highly recommend them for any software development needs.Posted on Google![]()

Highly recommend RocketSoft for Mobile App Development
RocketSoft’s published Rain iOS case study lists iOS (Swift) as its technology. Flutter is also used for mobile applications. The approach for a new project should be confirmed after reviewing the requirements, existing systems and delivery resources, rather than assuming every iOS application needs the same stack.
Yes, an application can be planned for both platforms. Flutter can share much of the application code, although platform-specific configuration, integrations and testing are still needed. If a native iOS app already exists, assess its code and requirements before deciding how to add Android support.
Start with an assessment of the codebase, dependencies, backend, developer accounts and technical documentation. This establishes what can be maintained or extended, what access is missing and whether significant changes are needed. The scope and support arrangements should be agreed after that assessment.
Cost and timing depend on the features, integrations, design, existing assets and release requirements. A prototype, a focused MVP and an established application with several systems are different scopes. Send a brief for a project-specific estimate; any quotation should distinguish the initial build, third-party charges and ongoing support.
App Store submission involves more than uploading a build. The team needs suitable store information, screenshots, support details and required privacy disclosures. Apple reviews submissions against its App Review Guidelines. Approval and review timing are controlled by Apple, so they cannot be guaranteed as part of a development estimate.
